Testing
Our standard tests screen for nutritional deficiencies, toxicities, allergies, intestinal microbial imbalance, hormonal and metabolic imbalances. These are investigated through urine, blood, hair, saliva, and stool samples. These samples are usually taken at the first visit, or over the course of naturopathic assessment and treatment. Read below for more information on these tests.

Comprehensive Intestinal Health Tests
Genetic / Genomic Tests - If you have a chronic illness, that is not responding well to treatment, or if illnesses tend to ‘run in your family’ then doing a genetic test makes sense. These particular tests indicate how specific nutrition or herbal extracts can positively influence the healthier expression of your genetic makeup, to help prevent the development of an illness/symptoms, or help resolve an existing illness. Genetic panels available include for the heart, bone, immune/asthma/allergies, estrogen metabolism, neurologic/learning disorders, toxicity/chemical sensitivity.
New Testing Available – for Phthalates and Parabens
You have heard about them being found in makeup, shampoos, plastic food containers, children’s toys, air fresheners, and vinyl flooring, but have you wondered how much is actually in you? These chemicals negatively affect our hormonal health, and are known as ‘endocrine disruptors,’ and particularly as xenoestrogens. They significantly increase the risk of hormone-related cancers (eg: breast and prostate), endometriosis, low sperm count, premenstrual syndrome, etc. We are now offering a test to measure your phthalate & paraben levels.
