Thursday January 21^st, 7:30-8:30pm – Alzheimer’s Disease: Prevention & Integrative Naturopathic Treatment for the Emerging Epidemic.  The incidence of Alzheimer’s disease is increasing, especially as the population ages, and has been described as an emerging epidemic.  Memory is key to the self, and to quality of life.  Learn what the newer risk factors are for developing Alzheimer’s, and what naturopathic tests and treatments can be integrated to make a more effective treatment plan to help people with Alzheimer’s Disease.  Topics will include newer testing, causes, toxicity and detoxification, new research on herbal medicines and nutrition, including important dietary changes and intravenous treatment.  Prevention is fundamental, to protect the younger generations, and will be discussed.  Call to register, seating is limited: 905-597-7201.

December 3, Cancer - Naturopathic & Nutritional Support & Treatments – 7:30-8:30pm  By Rahim Habib ND - Naturopathic Doctor & Carolyn Barber RD – Registered Dietitian   In this talk, we will discuss the effects of naturopathic methods to help treat patients with cancer.  We will discuss nutrition overall, specific anti-cancer effects of intravenous vitamin C, mistletoe injections, and homeopathic medicine.  We are also fortunate to have a special guest, a 5-year+ survivor of a difficult to treat form of brain cancer.  Since prevention is fundamental, specific points on prevention will also be discussed.
